Literature review

The literature review provided an overview of (sources of) Arctic data sets that are relevant for the project’s challenges, and addresses their quality and adequacy. The quality and adequacy are scored for the usage of each dataset, following a predefined scoring list. Information on the purpose for which the data set was generated and the purpose with which it was used will also be collected.

The literature review resulted in an (online) database, containing the information on the data sources, data sets and their use in assessment reports. The database is supplemented with findings from each of the project challenges and literature provided in a later stage. This has resulted in a report which describes a summary and preliminary analysis of the collected literature body.
